Welcome to the Parkland United Reformed Church of Ponoka website.  This website is designed to be a window through which you can look and get a glimpse of who we are, what we believe and why we are here.

Parkland is a community of believers joined to Jesus Christ and to each other by true faith. We’re a Christ-centered, Bible-believing, and Gospel-preaching church.

We believe that we’re sinners saved by the grace of God through His Son Jesus Christ, and we want to take that message of hope to a world that is shattered and broken by sin.

LCS Supper & Auction

Our annual Fundraising Auction and Supper is on Friday, April 19. The buffet supper (cost is by donation) is from 4:30-6:30pm and the live auction starts at 6pm. There will be games($) and a movie for the kids, plus desserts and snacks for sale. If you would like to donate a new item or a service to the auction, we accept them until April 17th, 4pm. This year the proceeds will be for scoring system updates and the west wing renovation. Any questions, please contact Alison Niemeijer at development@lacs.ca 403.318.8336.

Be Fruitful & Multiply Presentation

Presentation: “Be fruitful and Multiply” Families are having fewer babies and the world’s population is expected to peak and then decline later this century. The world isn’t prepared for the impact this is going to have. What may be the greatest challenge of this century can also be a huge opportunity for the church to shine. But that takes a willingness to have children, and to raise them faithfully. In this presentation, Reformed Perspective’s Mark Penninga will unpack data, history, and God’s Word to make the case for embracing the gift of children with open arms. Ages 16-116, single or married, children or no children, this presentation is suitable for all mature Christians. Monday, April 22nd at 7:30pm - Parkland United Reformed Church
